About CodeRef

CodeRef is a reference library for Rust and Python developers working on APIs, command-line tools, data pipelines, and tests. Read the collection at coderef.site.

What the guides cover

The Rust collection covers Axum, Tokio, and clap. The Python collection covers FastAPI, Pydantic, Polars, SQLAlchemy, and pytest.

Each guide is organized into chapters with explanations, code examples, common mistakes, and documentation links. Use the chapter overview, searchable sidebar, or previous and next links to move through a guide. Section links let you bookmark or share a specific topic.

Versions and accuracy

Version-specific examples identify the packages they use. Consult the linked library documentation for the release in your project. An updated page date records changes to the reference; it does not mean every example has been retested against a new library release.

Editorial approach

Keep explanations direct, show the code beside the concept, and state limitations that affect how an example should be used. Topics remain on stable section URLs so saved links continue to work.

Advertising placements are separate from guide text and code. Advertisers do not determine the examples or recommendations. See the privacy notice for information about advertising and browser storage.
